Why it matters

The biggest fear when buying clothes online is getting the size wrong. Every brand sizes differently: the same "M" fits snugly in one store and hangs like a sack in another. Shoppers hesitate, put off the purchase, or order two sizes to send one back. For the brand, that means extra shipping, stock tied up in transit and wasted time.

A size guide and size finder remove that fear right on the product page — exactly where the decision gets made.

How it drives sales

  • Fewer size-related returns. Shoppers choose based on their own measurements, not guesswork — so the item fits the first time more often.
  • Fewer "bracketing" orders. When shoppers are sure of their size, there's no reason to order the next one up "just in case".
  • Higher product page conversion. "What if it doesn't fit?" is one of the reasons people leave a page. Clear guidance takes that doubt away.
  • Less pressure on support. "Which size should I get?" questions in chat and messengers come up less often.
  • Trust in your brand. Detailed measurements and honest fit advice show you care about the result, not just the sale. A shopper whose first order fit perfectly is far more likely to come back for the next.

How it works

  1. In the CMS, a manager sets up size charts: blazers, trousers, dresses and shoes each get their own measurements.
  2. A chart is linked to a category or a specific product; for individual styles you can add fit notes.
  3. A "Size guide" link appears next to the size selector on the product page — it opens a bottom sheet on mobile or a modal on desktop.
  4. On the "Find my size" tab, the shopper enters their height and measurements and picks the fit they like.
  5. The finder matches their measurements against the chart and recommends a size, explaining why it works. One tap — and that size is selected on the product page.

Fashion details

  • Model stats in photos. A caption like "model wears size S, height 175 cm" helps shoppers picture themselves in the item.
  • Fit beats numbers. If a shopper wants a looser fit, the finder suggests a size up — the recommendation takes it into account.
  • Tied to variants. The recommended size is picked from variants that are actually available: if it's sold out, the shopper can sign up for a back-in-stock alert.
  • Fit feedback in reviews. Comments like "I took my usual size" in reviews add real-life experience to the chart.
