Order status notifications
Confirmed, packed, shipped, delivered — shoppers get an email at every stage and always know where their order is.
Why it matters
After payment comes the most anxious time for a shopper: the money is gone, but the items haven't arrived. If the store stays silent, people write to support, call, or start doubting the brand. Order status notifications take that anxiety away: shoppers get an email at every stage and know exactly what's happening with their order.
For a fashion brand, it's also part of the experience: a polished email in your brand style carries on the same feel as your website and packaging.
How it drives sales
- Fewer support requests. The answer to "where's my order?" arrives on its own, before the shopper even has time to ask.
- More trust. A transparent order journey — from "confirmed" to "delivered" — shows shoppers your brand is reliable and worth buying from again.
- More reviews. The delivery email is the perfect moment to ask for a rating: the item is in their hands and the impressions are fresh. Reviews appear on the product page and help future shoppers.
- A reason to come back. Emails can include new arrivals or a reminder about loyalty points — without being pushy.
How it works
- The shopper places an order in the cart — an "Order confirmed" email with the items and total arrives right away.
- A manager packs the order and changes its status in the CMS with one click — the shopper gets an "Order packed" email.
- When the order is handed over to the courier, an email goes out with a tracking number and link.
- Once the order is delivered — a thank-you email asking the shopper to rate their purchase.
- Every status and email is mirrored in the customer account, along with the full order history.

For your team
Email templates are edited in the CMS: logo, colors, copy, product blocks. Each notification can be switched on or off, and you can add your own statuses — for example, "Awaiting fitting" or "Ready for pickup at the showroom". If an order was placed without registering, an account is created automatically thanks to sign-up at first purchase, and the status history is instantly available to the shopper.
